In Zamboanga City, one of the most awaited event of the year is the Fiesta Pilar, which is celebrated every October. This is a special event that shows our culture, faith, and unity. However , It’s more than just a festival, it is a moment where Zamboangeños come together to honor Our Lady of the Pillar, our patroness, and celebrate the strength of our community.

When Fiesta Pilar is near, the road is full and the area becomes very strict as people are careful. Despite the strictness, there's still an exciting energy in the air ad everybody prepares for the celebration. It has lots of fun activities, like parades, street dancing, and cultural performances. Everyone from different parts of Zamboanga City joins in, making the celebration full of life.

The festival also focuses on our faith. Every year, many people go to the Fort Pilar Shrine to pray and thank the Lady of the Pilar for all the blessings they’ve received. This tradition strengthens our belief and reminds us how important it is to stay united, whether we’re celebrating or facing challenges.
